An Islay whisky brand and well-known kiltmaker are collaborating on an exciting range of bespoke tartan, personalised whisky favours.
Islay Mist Blended Scotch Whisky and MacGregor & MacDuff started working together last year but launched the favours at an exclusive showcase for some of Scotland’s top wedding suppliers at a recent event in the kiltmaker’s flagship store in Bath Street, Glasgow.
Suppliers taking part included: Joyce Young Bridal; House Martin Barbers; Cherry on Top Cakes by Jackie; and Regis Catering.
The partnership between the two companies features in all MacGregor & MacDuff’s stores – Bath Street, Glasgow west end and Prestwick – with customers who hire or purchase an Islay Mist kilt gifted an Islay Mist miniature in their sporran to celebrate their special day along with a 10% discount voucher for specialist store the Good Spirits Co to redeem against a bespoke tartan bottling of Islay Mist whisky.
Designed in-house at MacGregor & MacDuff, the Islay Mist tartan is the fifth exclusive Mist tartan to join the range. Woven in Scotland using the finest Scottish wool, the design is inspired by the landscapes and sunsets of one of the most iconic Hebridean Islands, the Isle of Islay.
The whisky favours are priced at £3.50 per miniature and available now.
