Loch Lomond Whiskies has unveiled two limited-edition single malts created to mark The 150th Open at St Andrews. The award-winning, independent whisky distiller is the official spirits partner for The Open.
The Loch Lomond The Open Course Edition 2022 is described as a rich and elegant single malt whisky that pays homage to all the golf courses where The Open has taken place, from the first-ever championship in Prestwick in 1860 to St Andrews where this year’s event will be held in July.
Meanwhile, the Loch Lomond The Open Special Edition 2022 marks the 150th year of golf’s most prestigious championship. It has been crafted in partnership with legendary Scots golfer Colin Montgomerie who worked closely with master blender Michael Hendry to create a whisky worthy of the historic anniversary.
Both are perfect for perfect for whisky aficionados and golf lovers alike, retailing at £225 and £45 respectively.
