MHOR COFFEE is brewing up a storm by making its range of artisan roasts available to farm shops and independent delicatessens.
Launched during lockdown in 2020 by coffee lovers Tricia Fox and Ian Christie, a Perth-based husband-and-wife team, Mhor Coffee is inspired by the Highlands with roasts including the smooth and buttery The Aonach Mhor, The Creag Mhor with its notes of vanilla biscuit and chocolate, and the robust and spicy blend The Etive Mhor.
The range also includes a decaffeinated coffee, No Mhor Caffeine, for those who are looking to cut down their caffeine intake.
First to stock the brand are greengrocer The Urban Grocery and specialist cheese shop Fig & Fromage Deli, both in Newport-on-Tay in Fife. Additional stockists will be announced in due course.
The Mhor range has until now been sold exclusively online direct to the public. Co-founder Tricia Fox said: “As retail has recovered, we’ve been getting an increasing number of requests from specialist independents to stock our coffee.
“This seems like the next natural step for us as an artisan brand, and one which we’re very excited about.”
The Mhor Coffee café can be found on Perth’s Kinnoull Street.
