Dewar’s Aberfeldy is a bastion of traditional whisky-making in a region where few distilleries remain – and now you can either visit in person or enjoy a virtual experience.
The virtual tour takes lets visitors learn all about Scotch whisky through the eyes of Tommy Dewar with stopovers at the heritage museum and close-ups of the drams. You’ll be sent a cocktail kit and masterclass teaching everything you need to know about creating your own signature highball drinks and more.
Dewar’s virtual cocktail and tasting experience costs £55 while it’s £30 for the virtual tour and tasting.
If you’re visiting beautiful Perthshire in person, the whisky tour will show you how Dewar’s makes its beautifully balanced single malt Scotch. As part of the tour visitors can immerse themselves in an interactive whisky heritage exhibition which offers an insight into founder John Dewar and his sons Tommy and John Alexander.
